After 4 months away, we're back in Spain! Our previous landlord asked if we'd like to move back in for only 1000Euros/month and we couldn't refuse. The things we were most looking forward to was having the boys back in same school after a (sometimes) hard-fought home schooling experience, being back in Europe with modern world amenities, the cheeses and the olives, and a break from the often oppressive heat and humidity of coastal Costa Rica and Mexico.
Spotting the mountains and rivers over Portugal and Spain was cool

Back in the swing of things, meeting up at the beach with our Polish family friends.

Springtime beach path

A new fixture in Benalmadena harbor

We gave the wheel a try

Bustling Carihuela beach with Torremolinos and Malaga in the distance

Amber and Todd walked to the hills after dropping the boys off at school one morning.
A trail lined with flowers and herbs such as thyme, lavender, and rosemary

Amber had a good thyme. hee hee

about 3/4 of the way up, you can see the winding trail ahead

Benalmadena in the background

Malaga

At the top of pico Palomas was a US mailbox and a register we added to inside.

Overall it as a lovely hike with many wildflowers, few people, expansive views and peaceful nature.
That one time Drion tried jujitsu.

Daily walk around town

Waiting with the rest of the guys outside of Zara clothing store.

We missed our penthouse terrace views.
Some barely snow in the Sierra Nevadas, and a few sailboats enjoying the partly cloudy warm day.
"How many Euros?"

Happy 11th birthday, Parker! Your present to Paris is coming soon

Hair styling by one of our only Spanish friends--JuanCarlo!

Maxin and relaxin, wishin the sea was a little warmer for a swim

Family hike outside of Estapona:
"Here's a flower for your ear, momma"

Went for a dip to cool off

Not a bad loop, fun excursion
