We were happily healthy for our last couple of weeks in Mexico. We went rock climbing on the cliffs of the shore and enjoyed a visit from Amber's sister and the boys' cousins.
The local markets were always fun to visit and full of fresh food.

It's hard to tell from the photo but this is an amazing pure cacao/cocoa bean chocolate shop. One can buy roasted cocao beans in bulk to cocoa nibs, to freshly ground cocoa butter, to cocoa for mole, to powder, to drinking chocolate to chocolate bars. We've only seen these shops in Oaxaca and they are extraordinary.

Off to the seaside cliffs!

Amber had a great time and made it to the top of this route!

Drion enjoyed trying it out.

Parker loving it.

Todd sport climbed

Parker rocked the climbing. He did awesome and has a talent for it. We'll have to pursue his interest when we return to Seattle.

Star of the show.

Fish tacos in Mexico.

The cousins came to visit!

Those are some big coconuts.

Semana Santa (holy week) was a very popular time to be on the beach.

Happy 7th birthday Drion!

Taking the catch to be filleted after a rough seas boat tour with the cousins.

Todd experienced good times with this small business owner and his family and friends. The exceptional mezcal flowed during conversation and translations.

What we enjoyed most about our time on the Southeastern Pacific coast of Mexico was the culture, the people, the food, the almost perfect weather, and the perfect beaches and water for playing and relaxing. Oaxaca is a special place in Mexico. We look forward to visiting again someday!
